''Glyphidocera dentata'' is a moth in the Autostichidae family. It was described by Adamski and Brown in 2001. It is found in Venezuela.〔(funet )〕 The length of the forewings is 6 mm. The forewing colour consists of pale brownish orange intermixed with brown scales. The discal cell has two spots, one near the base and one near the apical end. There is one small spot basad to the spot near the base of the cell and the marginal scales are brown. The hindwings are pale brown. ==Etymology== The species name refers to the tooth-like apical area of the valva and is derived from Latin ''dentatus'' (meaning tooth). 〔(Proc. Ent. Soc.
